The DGLux Mobile App In Action!
Property-To-Property Binding Tutorial
Adjusting one property of an object using a property of another object is just one of the ways DGLux is more flexible and allows users to create unique, personalized experiences unlike any other visualization provider. Just like binding data to dynamically adjust properties, DGLux enables binding any component property to any other components property. In this tutorial, you will see how you can control the rotation and color display of a globe through the use of a slider or create a slider to control temperature setpoints.
Zone Temperature Overlays Tutorial
In this tutorial you will see how to create the gradient overlays that are commonly seen to represent zone temperatures on top of a floor plan. This exact same functionality can easily be applied for occupancy or lighting as well with the use of different set points. By watching this quick demo, you will learn how to import an image that could be your floor plan, use DGLux drawing tools to create your zone overlays and link the shapes to real time data from your station tree with a gradient map and a nuemeric map.
Learn The Navigation Of DGLux!
This DGLux Navigation Tutorial will show you the navigation within the platform including our tab structure, how to open dashboards, and copying and pasting links with the client-side technology. We will also discuss the administrative capabilities available such as switching between design mode to view mode, how to set "Kiosk Mode" with timers, logging in and out, how to export reports or images, how to submit feedback to the DGLux Support Team, how to adjust licensing status or enter into user management settings. We will also introduce the interface "drill down" feature, which allows you to create immersive user experiences.
Catering To Multiple Audiences With DGLux
Behavior Driven Call Outs Tutorial
This is a quick tutorial on how to create a call out from a piece of equipment and brief description on how all interaction is created within DGLux using behaviors and the property inspector. After this tutorial you will have a basic understanding of how you can make objects interactive through the "Set State" feature in DGLux.

DGLogik's Visualization Platform - DGLux
Eugene Mazo, CEO of DGLogik, interviewed by Ken Sinclair
What is the importance of dashboards and visualization within the building automation industry?
Ken, you always say that the building automation industry needs to make “the invisible become visible” and that the sea of data, which our buildings create, can become a powerful asset. Dashboards and customized visualization is the solution for allowing management, engineers, building operators, and executives to properly utilize building systems data. It is proven that building performance visualization enables better analysis, well informed decisions, and lower costs.
We have taken this concept a step further, because we believe that with visualizing data, there is no “one-size-fits-all” solution. Different data needs different ways of being presented in order to make the biggest impact on the audience. This is what we have done, we have given DGLux users the ability to visualize any type of data in any way, without dictating one way or another like other solutions do.
Building Automation - The Mobile Revolution
Today 95 percent of mobile employees have smart phones, up from 85 percent in 2010, with 91 percent using their smart phone for work – a 26 percent rise compared to 2010. With trends showing smart phone users continuing to grow exponentially, the number of applications and advancement of functionality will only continue to revolutionize the way we use these devices. Our fast lifestyle has forced mobile devices to become a primary source of data consumption and task completion. With the increasing capabilities of smart phones, the building automation industry is positioned to greatly benefit from mobile management and monitoring applications. Recognizing the benefits of Building Automated Systems (BAS) mobility, DGLogik Inc. has created DGLux Mobile.
Building Intelligence Becomes Mobile
Any Platform, Any Place, Any Time
“Take monitoring to the next level, be better informed, more intelligent and faster reacting, with your building automation solutions through mobile visualization.”
A new era of building automation has arrived. You can now see all of your facilities in it’s actual environment rendered in real time with true-to-life graphics parallel to the gaming industry standards. Virtual monitoring has building intelligence professional strongly agreeing that performance dashboards and custom visualization are top priority to enable better analysis, well informed decisions, and quicker action.
A New Era of Building Automation Software
Imagine being able to take a virtual tour of your facilities worldwide, whether it be your corporate offices or your datacenters, and see all of your equipment in its actual environment being rendered in real-time; shadows falling on the walls and furniture based on where the light fixtures are located, color of the carpet and all surroundings accurately portraying fluorescent or incandescent lighting, energy meter read-out displaying the real-time consumption of your facility. And when you’re done looking around, drag your mouse over the thermostat on the wall and adjust the space temperature set-point for the room that you are practically in. With graphics nearing realism to the extent that it becomes difficult to distinguish between a photograph of a chiller unit and its 3D rendering, this virtual “real” environment is not so far-fetched. With information technology in its prime, and various breakthroughs in advanced multimedia platforms, it is inevitable that state-of-the-art software solutions will soon pervade the building automation industry. Innovative ideas such as real-time 3D rendering engines and XML based run-time compilers, amongst others, have now evolved in the market and are quickly gaining praise for their ability to accomplish tasks which merely a few years ago seemed impossible. As accelerated hardware with faster processors and greater horsepower continues to emerge in the automation space, the software has all of the potential to reach and surpass the sophistication of the gaming industry.

An example utilizing the power of the Rich Internet Application environment, besides the inherent benefit of being able to access your facilities from any internet enabled computer in the world, is the ability to convert numeric values such as space temperature into a color gradient, essentially creating a heat-map, which is then overlaid on top of all the floor plans of a given building and displayed on a single screen.
The Importance of Building Automation Systems Visualization
"Through flexible and intelligent building automation visualization, disparate systems, which would otherwise be an obscured asset, can be easily and quickly comprehended."

Building system data is an asset for any company. Every building is unique and energy consumption within all buildings varies and fluctuates, which should be managed in a unique manner. To be as lean as possible and maximize efficiency, this requires an intelligent Building Automation System (BAS) and a customizable graphic user interface (GUI) for unique dashboard creation to accurately visualize this information. Effective BAS visualization enables faster energy analysis, monitoring, and the ability to “tell the story” of the building performance to management, engineering, building operators and executives alike to make better decisions on ways to troubleshoot potential problems and cut costs.

We are often asked about why we chose to create a dark user interface skin for DGLux. The overwhelming comments seemed to be that the application looks sophisticated and very attractive, many customers stated that it was a great move because it caught people's eyes right away and immediately made us stand out from the rest. Although this was one of the reasons why we chose to proceed with the dark skin, we had always tried to communicate that it was definitely not the only reason.
